Imagination & life projects
Doctoral research into how we imagine possible lives—and how culture, signs and relationships shape what can become.
A joint PhD (cotutelle) in Psychology between UFBA and Universidad Alberto Hurtado, funded by CAPES, studying imagination, human–AI interaction and the reconfiguration of life projects. Through cultural-semiotic psychology, imagination is approached not as an escape from reality, but as a process through which people give form to their futures. Life projects connect personal meaning with the social worlds in which possibilities emerge.
